C: Heidi is the strongest one in her family emotional but still is a weak person and has problems facing her emotional life like when ever her mom died she she said she still fells like both her grandma and madre died in the same day with shows how lonely she is and how she doesn't have many peoples in he fam. She kind of changes at the end and is as much as a cry baby but she needs to take some antidepressants and watch some Netflix. I didn't like the book because it seemed like a rip off a horrible romantic drama  movie and her mother death seemed unnecessary.

I liked this book my favorite part was when she finally got the truth about her mom. my least favorite part was when Bernie had to tell Hedi that mama died in her sleep, because it was sad.

She was determined and she stayed that way through the whole story and she does this to figure more out about herself.I liked this book i thought it was very interesting and fun to read. Heidi is eager, persistent, smart, caring, optimistic, and loving. These traits make her strong because she doesn't give up, if she falls down she gets up and tries again. She is loving because she loves Bernadette and her mom and she tells Bernadette that a lot and her mom doesn't really understand what "love" is. So Heidi shows her mom she loves her with her actions. I feel like Heidi gets stronger at the end of the book because she wouldn't take no for an answer and she was straightforward with Mr. Hill. 

I thought the book was very good. It made me want to keep reading because it was a mystery and there was so many things that I wanted to know. My favorite part was when Heidi stayed with Ruby and Roy. I loved the details it had imagery in it and it painted a picture of what the house was like.

         What would i say to your main character right now? Well So Heidi  is have a little teenage attitude  to people that she is staying with Roy and Ruby because Roy lied to her about going to Hilltop..And she has these questions: She want to  figure out her past and what had happen in the past and what happen to mama.why can mama not talk right . Then Heidi went to her small room and open her draw she saw baby clothes and Ruby had a couple of babies and they all died and then Roy called  so i would ask her why are you going to be rude to people that are keeping you safe and out of harms way. Why would i say it? Because that is what i would say because she is having a teenage attitude  to them and i do some time but i would not yell at them.

If I had a chance to talk to my main character in my book I would tell her that she is crazy that she had broken in to her dad's house just to find out what "soof" means. I would tell her that because she shouldn't have broken into some stranger's house and almost got caught by the police.  Heidi (the main character) should have just called before she had just walked in to the house. Heidi wanted to know if this man who she thinks is her dad that her mom might have been before Heidi was born, because Elliot said "soof" and that she though that her mum have been their before, but the man said that her mum has never been there before, like ever.

I would say: "Heidi, you will get through this. You never know what could happen. What if you somehow find out what Soof means? what if you earn a ton of money with you lucky strike with guessing? You never know. So don't give up.

I would say this because her mom, who has some sort of mental disability, says a word called 'soof'. Heidi doesn't know what it means, and she is dying to know. Her neighbor Bernadette assures her the word means nothing.

She traveled to Liberty to find out what soof means, she met a nice police officer and a lady named Ruby. they could eventually tell her what soof means. Or she could win the lottery because she always gets whatever she guesses right.

If I had the chance to talk to my character right now I would say "You are a really good person and you're very curious but I think when you went to Liberty and then when you couldn't get a hold of Bernie I was scared." It also got really scary when she lost her money and the call wouldn't go through.

 I'd say that because that's what I really thought about when I was reading the book, and to tell her all the things I liked about her in the book and what I thought about all the worrying parts.

Sarah weeks wrote So B. It because she  chosen  not to set So B. It in a specific year.  I wanted it to feel like it’s taking place somewhere in the not too distant past.  If your report has to name the time period, I would suggest that you say, “The story takes place sometime in the not too distant past.”

The characters in So B. It are struggling with their disabled mother. Her mother and Heidi has to do everything because Bernadette is afraid to leave the house ever since her father died. I think that she will overcome her fear of going outside and then her mom can finally rest.

The stuggle of our charecters in the story are Man vs Himself. What causes this is the mother dont remember anything but the word soof and we dont know what that means yet. Things tha make it even worse are she had a seizure and remembers something and she cant tell anyone but herself because she only knows 24 words. They may be able to end up solving it but that may take a long time.

Heidi wants to go outside but bernie wont let her outside cause something could go wrong. Heidi and Bernie have to hide the food cans from mamma cause if they dont shell get in to them for no reason. Bernie can only understand what mamma says or is trying to say but Heidi doesnt understand what she is trying to say. Heidi has a friend that she plays with through the down staires window but she cant go out side and play wih her friend casue Bernie wont let her go outside. Bernie is letting Heidi out but Heidi told them that she would be back but she isnt coming back. Heidi is going to Liberty but Bernie doesnt know about it.

I think the conflict is man vs. nature because there was a storm and hidie could not hear  bernie on the phone so now she is so nervose but on the way she meets new friends and hidie thinks soof is a name of her dad or someone in her family.nwhat is the character stuggling in the story. well she just lied about a hole story to her new friend but she told her the truth so i think that she is going to have a hard time not lying. what event have complicated ower conflict even further. Well.... I think when she meet new friends because she lies ans lies. i think she will solve the conflict because she said that the lying is bad and she fills gulty about it.

The Charters that are struggle in this story is that Heidi thinks that Soof means that it's her dad's names because she doesn't even know her dad. The Events that have complicated Heidi's conflict further is that she was trying to call Bernie just tell her that she is sick and that Brien's might make her come home. But it was rainy down hard and she couldn't hear Brunei on the phone.   Yes, the characters will slove the conflict whitout causeing more harm because Heidi lied to her mom about where she was going and Heidi got the money but playing with the slot machines.

The charcter's are struggling with the moms problems and things get complicated when bernie takes care of heidi and the mom. I think they can't solve it they just have to get through it together.

Conflict- Brittany

Heidi is struggling with excepting that she doesn't know what soof means. the mom won't ride the bus so they can't fix the vacuum. I think there is a way but she just has to let go of trying to figure out what soof means.

Heidi is very courious about her mother. Heidi likes going to the store with her mom, and learning. She doesn't like that her mom can't speak full sentences. I like Heidi because she is concerned for her mom and wonders about her past.

What does soof mean?

     Our group thought soof meant something bad like a cuss word. As in the text the mom said soof when she was told to tie her shoes. As she didnt want to tie her shoes or messed up. As some people would say those types of words when they did something wrong. We think this is important question because she says it often when she dont want to do something or did something wrong. There are many other questions you could ask but we foucused in on this single one.
